import/ street car shoot out
« on: July 05, 2012, 02:34:35 AM »
anybody in the georgia and carolina area interested in having a winner take all shoot out at carolina dragway or another track, if i can get it approved? im really trying to do something extra for you guys now that im back on the scene again but dont have a whole lot of money to put towards it.....but this is what im thinking about

track charges $15 to race so why not everyone throw in a extra $10 a car and enter a shoot out? 10 cars entered equals $100 take home or split the pot for first and second and make 75 1st and 25 to 2nd.... all cars muct be on d.o.t street tires no slicks or drag radials. street radials can be allowed. if you wanted to do 4 cylinder only idc its for everyone to debate on.... if i can get this 1st one to go i might be able to make it bigger and bigger as we go, but i need the support from the local guys

that blue font hurts my eyes.

Going off the subject the scene around augusta like most places is suffering.  I dont think there would be a cost effective way to do something at Jackson due to their liability/insurance costs.  That is why we had to stop doing Braggin Rights.

Would be fun, braggin right\'s was awesome although it did not last long. I can count maybe 5-6 pals willing to do this.

Best way to get something like this going is to start the conversation with some smack talk. :)

Good luck. It only takes a few people talking to get the buzz going.
