Input on custom brakes?
« on: June 18, 2013, 06:11:17 PM »
Looking to upgrade to four Brembo calipers meant for a Suzuki GSXR.

You think those would increase my stopping power off these tiny things I have now?

I know custom mounting brackets would need to be made, but other than that, do I need to worry about rotor size or thickness, or does a brake caliper function the same regardless of that?

On a side note, I am now plated and registered in Columbia County.  I\'ll have to tell you how I did it next time I stop by to visit. haha

The thickness of the rotor and the size of the piston in the caliper and pad usually are determined by the weight of the vehicle, so yes if you are increasing the size of them.
I\'m sure that took being there on the right day lol.
