Cars & Coffee - Columbia
« on: January 24, 2014, 09:56:58 PM »
Some of you guys have been to Cars & Coffee events in Atlanta or other locations, so you know that some of these can be an eye-candy car show with a lot of different types of rides. The newest event is in Columbia and is slated to take place January 25th (last Saturday of the month) at the Quaker Steak and Lube at 941 Spears Creek Rd. (Columbia, SC)

Many different clubs and organizations have RSVP'd and it looks to be a big turnout. I'm hearing as many as 600+! Sorry for the late notice, but I just found out about it myself. This is tomorrow morning from 8am-Noon.

Quaker Steak and Lube will be offering 16oz coffee with free refills for $2 and breakfast biscuits for $5.

So, if you see this one come out. If you can't make it, no prob.. They do this apparently every month at different locations.

Well, we met up at the SC welcome center. There were a nice group of Mustangs and Camaros that rolled up. We headed for Columbia at 6:30am and the Mustang tossed the clutch at mile marker 34... So, I missed out on this one.

I'll post up more in advance for next month's meet as soon as I get more information on the details.

Hopefully you didn't wait too long for a ride.  We slowed down to see if you were going to catch up not knowing what happened.  Looking forward to the next ride!!

We were out there for about an hour so it wasn't that bad. The transmission has some internal issues going on and the clutch fried but will be good before the end of next week.

Definitely looking forward to the next.
