I put a motor in a \'99 or \'00.. Dont know how different that would be, but I was able to get a JDM motor for about 900.

There are always a few 3.0 acuraCL motors on C/L for cheap. That would be a sweet motor. or maybe a dirt cheap SOHC+boost would be a good solution ;)
