Local steel targets?
«
on:

Anyone locally make steel targets? (think AR500 is whats required)
I know where I can order some online, but I\'m always looking to support local business and avoid shipping cost.
Need something ranging from 4\" up to 12\" that can withstand punishment from a .308 cartridge at as little as 100 yards.
Also looking for something for 9mm at 25 yards.

Norman wrecking in Lincolnton has a shooting range with metal targets set up in 50yd increments and they get bigger the farther away. They are shaped like animals.

Guess I\'ll give em a ring sometime.
Do you happen to know if they make them in house or even sell them by chance? :side:

I need weights and thickness if you have something particular in mind.

8\" circular - has to be strong enough to withstand repeated punished from a .308 caliber at a minimum distance of 100 yards.
Looks like it needs to be made of 3/8\" AR500.
Place on line sells these for $30.00 + shipping - so if he can do better I\'ll gladly do business local. It also needs two openings to run chain through to hang. Here is a pic:
Something like this would be nice as well:
3/8\" AR500 Steel Target 5\" x 8.25\"
