Falken Tire Corp. has informed its dealers that it will be increasing passenger and light truck/SUV tire prices by up to 5%, with some inline adjustments.
The increase, the 103rd announced industry-wide for North America this year, will be effective Jan. 1, 2012.
Effective Jan. 1, 2012, prices on all passenger and light truck/SUV tires sold by Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. will go up \"to a weighted average of 6%.\"
The increase marks the 104th tire price increase targeting the U.S. and Canada announced in 2011.

Kumho Consumer/Commercial up to 8% 12/1
Toyo Consumer/Commercial up to 6% 1/1

Yokohama Tire Corp. announced its second price increase of 2012, this one for its consumer tires sold in the U.S.
As of Mar. 1, prices on all of Yokohama’s passenger and light truck/SUV tires will increase by up to 8%. In-line adjustments will also be made, but at a later date, the tiremaker said.
As of Feb. 1, Yokohama jumped commercial tire prices by up to 8%. The new consumer tire increase follows a Nov. 1, 2011, increase of up to 8% on Yokohama passenger and light truck/SUV tires.
